Daylight Savings has started again and with it the KFC chicken run summer shootout. As per previous years the qualifying rounds will be held on Wednesday afternoons. The first round is set down for the 5th October 2011 and the final to be played on 30th March 2011 at 4pm. So get your mates organized and come out and enjoy an afternoon on course at Shepparton Golf Club.
HOW IT WORKS - $4 entry fee per game
- KFC vouchers and Pro balls awarded for each round
- Points awarded after each round
- Top ten players at end of season qualify for the shootout
- Shootout is sudden death stableford matchplay
- 10 players hit off the 10th tee
- one player is eliminated after each hole ( in the event of tie a putt or chip of will be performed )
- Leaving one player the champion on the 18th
- BBQ presentation to follow final were over $2000 in prizes are handed out
- BBQ is free to all participants that have played 10 or more rounds
POINTS AWARDED AS FOLLOWS - 7 points for 1st
- 6 points for 2nd
- 5 points for 3rd
- 4 points for 4th
- 3 points for 5th
- 2 points for 6th
- 1 point for all other players
